Estate Planning. Done Properly

We help individuals and couples plan for death and incapacity with documents that are tailored to real life.

Everything starts with a conversation. We listen first and recommend only what you actually need.

Wills

A will sets out what happens to your estate after you die.

It covers who deals with your affairs, who looks after your children, where your money and property go, and any gifts you want to leave to family, friends, or charities.

Without a Will, the law decides who inherits and who handles things, which can create delays, extra costs, and stress for the people you care about.

Trusts

A trust is a legal way to protect or control how assets are passed on.

It can be used to safeguard inheritances, provide for children or vulnerable beneficiaries, manage second family situations, and add structure and protection for the future.

A basic will alone is not always enough to provide the level of protection or flexibility some families need.

LPAs

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) allow people you trust to make decisions for you if an accident or illness means you cannot.

There are two types. One covers money and property, such as paying bills or selling a home. The other covers health and welfare, such as medical treatment, care arrangements, and where you live.

Leave it too late and your family may face delays or court applications before they are able to help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers to common questions, so you know exactly what to expect before you get in touch.

How do I know you know what you’re doing?

Rayno was founded by Claire, who has spent years working in estate planning across will writing firms, solicitors, and consultancy businesses.

Claire is a member of the Society of Will Writers and STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners), and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Will Preparation.

In plain English, that means recognised professional training, ongoing development, and a commitment to high standards in an unregulated industry.

What happens after I get in touch?

We will review your enquiry and suggest the best next step.

If needed, we will book a call at a time that suits you.

Do I have to go ahead after the first conversation?

No. The initial conversation is there to understand your situation and explain your options clearly. You decide whether to proceed or stick with the basics.

No pressure. No obligation.

Do you offer fixed fees?

Yes. We work on fixed packages for individuals and couples.

You will always know the cost before you decide anything.

What if I only need something simple?

That is absolutely fine.

If a straightforward will or basic documents are all you need, that is exactly what we will recommend.

If we think your situation would benefit from something more robust, we will say so and explain why.

You are always in control. Take the advice, ask questions, or stick with the basics. The choice is yours.

When do I pay?

You will not receive an invoice unless you decide to instruct us.

Once you do, payment is taken upfront.

That is because you are not paying for a piece of paper. You are paying for the advice, the expertise, and the time spent making sure everything is done properly.

That is what protects you and your family.

Do you work digitally or in person?

Both.

We embrace technology to make things efficient, but we always keep the process human.

Where it makes sense, we are happy to meet in person too.
